Van Scheduling Enables Donation Pick Ups During Covid for RAMH

BMcAzurri > Customer Stories > Van Scheduling Increases Donations During Covid

RAMH use BMc Azurri’s software application to keep things moving in Covid- 19 lockdowns.

RAMH a valued charity that we work in partnership with has found an innovative way to utilise our van scheduling application to ensure that things kept moving during the lockdowns of the past twelve months.

Upon the emergence of Covid-19 and the first lockdown, the RAMH REstore Shop closed to the public but the service stayed open to support the Housing Support Services who support circa 3,000 people per year.

We used the Van Scheduling application to book deliveries of supplies that were needed to our 9 premises which comprised of 5 housing services and 4 office bases.

The benefits of use to our charity were the ability to:

  • Move office furniture from one location to another (to accommodate social distancing)
  • Collect I.T from various suppliers to deliver to both ensure transition to homeworking was seamless Even including bicycles to enable staff to travel safely and avoid public transport.
  • Collect P.P.E from the Renfrewshire Council Hub
  • Deliver P.P.E and Janitorial items to multiple housing services units where clients are supported by the charity.

During this testing time, it was vital to get the equipment and support services to staff and clients, because of the success of the van scheduling application and the flexibility it affords, RAMH are now seeking to implement the stock management aspect, to ensure stock transfers to multiple locations can be tracked effectively and efficiently.
